Once in a while a yoga teacher develops with unusual skill, great sensitivity, and an appetite for going deep. Jess is that teacher. She teaches yoga with much resource from ancient teachings and an awareness of modern psychology including the wreckage from trauma. Taking a yoga class from Jess one can expect a rigorous and sensitive experience that might include well sequenced asana, some pranayama and even focus on mudras. At the end of her classes Savasana is capped with rich harmonium accompanied mantra chanting. Jess has a powerful voice.
As a person drawn to serving the needs of all people, Jess engages well with her students and friends. She has taken the role as a teacher of teachers during several teacher trainings. In her non yoga teaching activities, Jess gravitates toward personal coaching and helping people with issues of trauma, addiction, and mental health.
If the opportunity presents itself, don’t miss a chance to practice yoga with Jess.
